How this started

I've always been into watches and fine jewelry. Long before this was a business, it was just something I paid attention to.

Then I got introduced to a wholesaler, and I saw what things actually cost.

That was the moment. Not because I'd found a way to make money — because I realized how badly I'd been taken, repeatedly, by jewelers I'd trusted and believed were dealing with me fairly. The markup wasn't a small premium for service. It was the entire product.

The standard in this industry is what's called the "three key" — roughly 3x the jeweler's cost. That's not a scandal, it's just how retail jewelry works, and it pays for mall rent, commissioned salespeople and corporate overhead. But nobody explains it to you, and once you know the number you can't unknow it.

So I built the thing I wished had existed when I was the one buying: somebody who genuinely enjoys this, prices it fairly, and isn't trying to get rich off a single sale.

How I price

Every gold chain here is priced by the gram — actual measured weight, at a published per-gram rate that varies by karat, style and width.

That means you can check my math.

Take the gram weight, take the karat, look up the current gold price, and work out what the metal is worth. Then compare it to what I'm asking. Do that with my listings and do it with anyone else's.

This is why I publish the actual gram weight on every listing. Not an estimate, not a range — the weight of the specific piece you're buying. A seller who won't tell you what a chain weighs is telling you something.

How I keep prices where they are

There's no trick to it — I've taken out nearly every middleman between the manufacturer and you.

I buy direct from long-established American manufacturers. Our handmade pieces are built by a domestic goldsmith, link by link, and turn around in approximately 2–3 weeks against an industry standard that can run considerably longer. I work with U.S.-based wholesalers I've known for years, and I've built those relationships the slow way — by showing up in person at every major industry trade show, year after year.

What I don't have: a retail storefront, commissioned sales staff, or a corporate structure that needs feeding. That's the difference in the price, and it's the whole difference.

What you can count on

• Real gold, in the karat stated. Every gold piece is karat stamped and personally guaranteed to test as real gold of its stated karat. Any jeweler can verify it with an acid test or a testing machine, and I'd encourage you to.
• The actual weight, published. Every listing carries the measured gram weight of that specific piece.
• The piece in the photo. Most of what I carry is one-of-one — the chain you see photographed is the chain that ships to you, not a stock image of a similar item.
• Every package on video. Incoming trade-ins and outgoing orders are recorded. It protects you as much as it protects me.
• A real person on the other end. I answer my own email. If something goes wrong, you're talking to the owner on the first message, not the fourth.

Old gold becomes new gold

If you've got gold you don't wear anymore, you can trade it in — I pay 100% of the melt value of wearable gold as store credit toward anything on the site. Full melt, not a fraction of it.

I can do that because the credit comes back to me as a purchase. A pawn shop pays you a fraction because cash walks out the door and never returns. My math is different, so my offer can be too.

It works especially well if you're saving toward something specific. Old pieces sitting in a drawer turn into the piece you actually want to wear.

Family-run out of the Dallas–Fort Worth area since 2021, with over 500 five-star reviews from verified buyers. You can read them all on our reviews page — the good ones and anything else that's there.

I also write guides on how gold chains are priced, how to spot a fake, and how to size a chain properly. Those exist whether or not you ever buy from me. If they save you from overpaying somewhere else, that's a win in my book — I've been on the wrong end of that transaction and it's the reason this business exists.
